With a combination of varied career experiences, Randy Prange’s professional background has served as a strong base for developing insight and understanding for a wide variety of marketing challenges.

At Prange & O’Hearn’s Insights, Inc., strategic planning and research group, he provides management direction for the strategic planning and business development arm of the firm, including oversight and direct input into every project’s marketing applications for the client. He is also responsible for all aspects of the firm’s marketing efforts, financial matters and the creative services provided by the firm.

In working with the research findings, he oversees the creation of insightful, graphical interpretation and marketing recommendations necessary for clear understanding of the data and its immediate and successful use by clients.

Prior to the inception of Prange & O’Hearn’s Insights, Inc., he served as the Marketing Director for The Miami Herald Publishing Company, where he was responsible for the marketing promotion, creative services, special publications, market research and video production services.During his administration, each department earned numerous awards of excellence in its field.

He was responsible for the conceptualization, acquisition, development and training for one of the largest Apple Macintosh computer networks in the newspaper industry, bringing a division of over fifty-five members to state-of-the-art efficiency. With over 13 years experience in the desktop computer field, he was regarded as a primary desk-top computer consultant to Knight-Ridder, Inc. and its 28 newspapers nationwide.

In the earlier part of his career, Randy spent more than 9 years developing award winning expertise in editing, publication design, art/photographic layout and design and new product development at the Fort Wayne (Indiana) Journal-Gazette. He is credited with the conceptualization, development and implementation of a series of successful product enhancements and promotions.

His community involvement includes service on the Executive Board of Chamber South, as a Trustee for the Beacon Council and as Chairperson of the Quality Case Study committee and a member of the special Business & Industry Committee of The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
